Colossal Chick, is a 1999 palomino mare. She is HYPP N/N, she stands 15.2 hands. She was used for 4-H where she did halter, and western pleasure before becoming a broodmare. Her foals are very correct with straight legs, and good muscle.
Jets Azure Star,is an 2002 palomino mare that stands 15.2 hands. She has been a color producer and her foals have showed a lot of speed. She is halter broke, stands for farrier, and loads. This mare has thrown a lot of nice colts that are doing well in the barrel pen. They are very quick on their feet, and has shown a lot of speed.

Mytes Midnight Chrome is a breeding stock APHA, black mare, 16 hands and is really well put together with good straight legs, and beautiful head. She was purchased to be a barrel propect, but was not sound enough to continue with her training. Midnight, had been kicked in the left shoulder and developed a limp in the front end with heavy riding so we decided to put her in our broodmare pen. Chrome gave us a stunning palomino stud colt this year. This was her first foal and she did not disappoint.
VK Robbin Leo, is a 2003 sorrel mare standing 15.2 hands. She has raised some outstanding colts that are always born friendly. They have all been easy to work with and have great dispositions. Robbin has always come up bred every year, she is a color producer. She foals on her own in the pasture and is a good mother. Robbin is halter broke and stands well for farrier. She is easy to catch and work with and trailers well. We had her Dam for 19 yrs. and she was an excellent rope / ranch horse before becoming a broodmare. She also produced several very good arena/ ranch geldings for us. Both of her daughters VK Robbin Leo and VK Speedy Bars also listed seem to be following her footsteps. There foals are cow-y and have plenty of muscle and speed, with great dispositions and good attitudes. She is in foal to Winkin To Fame for 2018.
VK Speedy Bars, is a 2002, sorrel 15.2 hand mare. She is the first to greet you in broodmare bunch. She was ridden as a 3yr. old then cut a tendon in her hind leg. It has healed with time and doesn't bother her anymore. She is a sweet mare and has thrown her disposition on every one of her foals. She stands for farrier, loads well, and is very easy to work with. She is a full sister to VK Robbin Leo, on this site. Speedy has given us a palomino foal every year by our stud Roosters Ribbon Win. This has been a nice cross and the colts have always been easy to work with.
Lolitas Cool, had been with us for several years and had raised us several beautiful foals. She has one standing at stud with the Snowy River Ranch @ Sexsmith Canada. She has another colt that is currently doing very well heading in Colorado. We are currently seasoning a gelding in barrels from this mare. These colts have great dispositions, very athletic, good minds, and are very cow-y.
RIP pretty girl. We lost our beloved broodmare Lolitas Cool. She has raised us some outstanding foals and will be missed.
Cierras Charming Lucy, 2006, 15.2 hands. Little Josey has been used on the ranch and rides out well alone or with others. Has been used team penning and loves to work cattle. She is patterned on the barrels and is starting to be seasoned fall of 2014. She has done well with just 4 runs under her against tough competition in the NBHA fall series. She placed second in the 4 D, and run in the 3 D the next few of runs. She has really nice turns, just need more seasoning and confidence. Winter put us on hold so will start up again in the spring. This would make an excellent high school or college horse with just a little more work. An experienced rider would work best, to keep up with her barrel training. Hauls well and stands good at the trailer. Also eats and drinks well on the road.
Velvet San Colonel, 2001, bay mare, 15.1 hands I purchase Velvet in 2008, to run barrels on. She proved to teach me a lot in the next few years. She was running the top of the 2 D with limited hauling. In the late summer of 2014 Velvet came up lame in the front end.
I hauled her to 2 veterinarians and with findings she was sore. I was told by a CSR vet, “she needs coffin joint and hock injections”. I had her injected and turned her out for the winter with riding. Spring of 2015, she come in from pasture sound with no limping. However, by this time I had more then enough horses competing so didn’t have room to haul her. Velvet has stayed sound just trail riding and hasn’t had any injections since 2014. With that being said. She could go back to barrel racing, but may need maintenance doing so. Velvet stands well for farrier, hauls well, eats and drinks well on the road, and is easy to get along with. She is in foal to Winkin To Fame for 2018.
